For this one I was looking for something comfort. I’d never made anything like it and Shepard’s Pie came to mind. I spied around at some basic ways to make it and what ingredients and went to work spicing it up. See, I don’t cook bland, my dishes have to have some flavor or there is no point. I’ll keep it short and sweet…. If you want to taste what you make, you gotta spice it up. Flavor the meat and season everything! Remember, this recipe will feed about 10 people so cut it down if you need to.
Ingredients
“Potatoes”
- 3 & 3/4 lbs peeled Potatoes (I used about 12 medium reds)
- 1 tsp Garlic Power

“Meat Mix”
- 3 lbs ground beef

- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 & 1/2 medium onion – finely chopped

- 1 tsp Kinder smoked onion jalapeno
- 1 tsp Trader Joe everyday seasoning
